Interpol General Secretary Ronald Noble has presented Mehriban Aliyeva with a medal for services to creating a safer world.
He presented the medal to Azerbaijan's first lady on 22 November in Baku, SIA reports.
Mehriban Aliyeva, who is president of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, briefed the delegation on the objectives and work of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation.
She outlined the country's recent achievements and its dynamic development in all spheres, noting that Azerbaijan is the leader in the region.
Ronald Noble said that Azerbaijan is exemplary in terms of security.
Noting the experience of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation in organizing cultural events, he proposed holding joint events in Azerbaijan in future.
