The Ministry of Culture & Tourism has embargoed he start of booking for guests of the 57th European song contest Eurovision
Culture & tourism minister Abulfaz Garayev says that the Ministry has banned tourist sites to sell seats for contest Eurovision 2012 before 1 September 2011.
"All the hotels have stopped selling. This measure seeks to prevent overcharges for the period of the contest. We must first determine policy how to accommodate the guests as an influx of large numbers of tourists is expected. Only after that the question will be open for travel agencies and facilities. Today travel companies should develop the right sales system, and we will support them to prevent high prices for this period," Garayev said.
