The World Radiocommunication Seminar on the use of radio frequency spectrum and satellite orbits is taking place these days from 6 to 10 December, 2010 at the headquarters of the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) in Geneva (Switzerland).
On behalf of Communications Administrations of Azerbaijan Republic the seminar is attended by the employees from the State Management of Radiofrequencies (SMR) of the Ministry of Communications and Information Technologies. The first two days of the event will be dedicated to the discussions on international aspects of frequency management and radio standardization. The rest of the program will include seminars and lectures.
Note that similar seminars are organized every two years by the ITU Radiocommunication Bureau.
