EU special envoy for conflicts in the South Caucasus Philip Lefort is to visit Baku on 26 July.
The main point in Lefort's mandate is the resolution of the Armenian-Azerbaijani conflict over Nagorno Karabakh conflict which is discussed during his regular visits to the region.
Thus, the program of the visit is not yet confirmed, it is still unclear which of the officials of Azerbaijan Lefort is to meet. The EU special envoy usually meets the president, foreign minister and public community during his visits to Baku.
Today, Lefort has visited Yerevan where he discussed the Karabakh conflict settlement with country's Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian.
