Authorities have said that the suspect has fled the campus, according to NBC-affiliate WMC Actions News 5. It’s unclear how they reached that conclusion, or whether they have any leads on the suspect’s whereabouts.
All Delta State University students, faculty and staff who have been cleared from academic buildings are being moved to the Walter Sillers Coliseum, a basketball venue, according to the university's Twitter account.
