At least 72 workers have been killed and many others remain trapped after a fire hit a footwear factory in a suburb of the Philippine capital, SIA informs.
Jose Soriano Junior, regional director of the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP), said that as many as 63 people were "unaccounted" for, with the death toll expected to rise from Wednesday's blaze.
"There could be more buried under debris," he told Reuters news agency.
