About an hour ago, a fire broke out at a filling station in Baku, SIA reported.
According to SIA, the accident happened while repairs were being done at a filling station that belongs to "LUKoil" company located in 6 Ramiz Guliyev str. Khatai district, Baku.
The accident took two workmen’s lives away. One died where the fire occurred, while the other passed away in hospital.
As a result of the fire broken out at the filling station belonging to "LUKoil" company located in Khatai district, one man – Shamkhal Orujov – died at the site of incident, and another one – Hasrat Imamverdiyev - was taken to Neurosurgical Hospital with the help of the people around. Apart from them, Turab Hashimov, 1986, was also hospitalized in Neurosurgical Hospital with several injures. He is said to be in a critical condition, Baku City Emergency Medical Aid Station told SIA.
As a result of the explosion, a Mitsubishi № 10 PK 441 became worthless for use.
An investigation is currently carried out in the area by the employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, police and prosecuting officers.
