The Defense Ministry of Azerbaijan has issued a statement on the killing of the Azerbaijani serviceman.
The Armenians continue their subversive activities on the frontline. They violated ceasefire again on January 27 at 12:30.
As a result, the officer of the Armed Forces of Azerbaijan, Lieutenant Azizov Sabuhi Rustam oglu was killed in Aghdam by an Armenian sniper while executing military task.
Under the order of the Defense Minister, Colonel-General Zakir Hasanov, Lieutenant Azizov Sabuhi Rustam was awarded with 3rd class Medal "For Distinguished Military Service" for personal courage in the battle field.
The martyr’s fellow soldiers took an oath to highly honor the memory of Lieutenant Azizov Sabuhi and avenge his blood.
The Defense Minister extended his deepest condolences to the parents and relatives of the martyr.
Azizov was recruited from Shirvan town.
