The incident happened in the Security Regiment of the Justice Ministry’s Penitentiary Service, according to SIA.
The regiment’s soldier Vasif Shamil oglu Soleymanov fatally shot himself with his automatic rifle by ignoring the security rules.
The soldier wounded in the leg was hospitalized.
He was recruited into the army from Tartar region.
