People dealing with the smuggle of drugs from Iran were revealed as a result of operative search.
According to sources in the Ministry of National Security of Azerbaijan, nearly 30 kg of drugs were confiscated on them.
Thus, some 10 kg of opium and 977.9g of heroine were confiscated from citizens of Azerbaijan Hahiyev Tural Tahir oglu, Mammadov Gabil Sabir oglu and his son Asiman Mammadov.
Iranian citizen Arami Kiomars Huseyn oglu held 15 kg 162.86 g of hashish, Azerbaijani citizens Mirzoyev Agahuseyn Alihuseyn oglu and Abdullayev Samir Ayar oglu-2.055 kg of opium.
In addition, 1.092 kg of heroine was found on Azerbaijani citizen Kazimov Elkhan Shahi oghlu and Iranian citizen Bani Reza Soltanali Bayramali.
Also 220.19 gr of opium was revealed on Azerbaijani citizens Aliyev Kamran Jabrail oglu, and 257.4 g of heroine on Mehraliyev Rovshan Yadulla oghlu and Aliyev Javanshir Jabrail oglu.
