According to sources in the General Prosecutor's office in the country, the crime was committed in Arbatan village of Salyan on 27 July.
Arbatan village resident Halil Huseynov (born in 1986), the father of two children, cut his wife's throat-Kubra Akhundova (born in 1985) and then stabbed Zaur Gozalov (born in 1975) six times and also stabbed Salyan city resident Jalal Bakhishov (born in 1985) into abdominal.
Then Huseynov went out and broke the glass vitrine of one of the shops and injured himself.
Zaur Gozalov died at the hospital and Jalal Bakhishov underwent surgery. The doctors evaluate his state as severe.
The sources noted that Huseynov has already been detained by police officers. The motives of the crime are studied.
