In Tbilisi Georgian Oil-Products Producers, Importers and Consumers Union has awarded companies paying more taxes to state budget during 2010. Company has paid 150 million lari tax in Georgian State Budget during the last year.
SOCAR Georgia Petroleum Company has become the largest tax payer of Georgia. SOCAR Georgia Petroleum has won the nomination on "Most invested company in Georgia", "Best Petrol Stations" and "Charity Company" also. Kulevi Black Sea Terminal has become the best oil productions terminal in Georgia.
During 2010 the company invested 52 million lari in Georgia economy.
