An issue of Montenegro’s joining TAP will be discussed at a meeting at the end of August by officials from Balkan countries in Vienna, Austria, SIA reports quoting Montenegro’s Dnevne Novine newspaper
According to the newspaper, the construction of this pipeline is important not only for Montenegro but whole region: "TAP is a cheap energy source. This project will contribute to Montenegro’s industry and housekeeping".
Both Montenegro and other Balkan states are interested in construction of the pipeline.
