Consortium Shah Deniz has started the construction work of project Stage 2, regional president of BP in Azerbaijan, Georgia and Turkey Gordon Birrell has told reporters.
"Primary construction work began on Phase 2 at Sangachal terminal. Besides that, some property issues began to be resolved in Georgia in connection with the expansion of the infrastructure for Phase 2," said Birrell.
On December 17, 2013 in Baku, the project participants on the development of offshore gas condensate field "Shah Deniz" announced a final financial decisions on the second stage of the project.
