Azerbaijan exported raw cotton in the amount of $8.155m in January-October 2012.
According to sources in the State Customs Committee of Azerbaijan, this is a 74.69% or 1.7 times growth over the same period of the last year ($4.688m).
The share of cotton in the overall volume of country's export ($19,738,200,000) made 0.04% as of 1 November against 0.02% by results of 10 months of 2011.
Last year Azerbaijan exported raw cotton in the amount of $4.975m which is a 5.26% drop over 2010.
In 2010 the export of this production dropped by 78.5%.
