The Azerbaijan-Switzerland Business Forum is taking place in Baku today with focus on the development of relationships with the Swiss Canton of Geneva Today in Baku.
At the forum deputy economic development minister Niyazi Safarov of Azerbaijan has stated that this December Baku will host a regular meeting of Azerbaijani-Swiss Intergovernmental Commission on Cooperation, and the forum is a preparation for this session.
"Over the past few years, the Azerbaijani-Swiss relationships have acquired positive dynamics. There have been held 14 mutual visits and business forums between our countries, and bipartite trade relations are rapidly developing," Safarov said.
The forum was attended by more than 100 business people from the financial and banking sector, industry, trade, real estate, health, education and other commercial activities.
