Ukraine’s Presidential Office: “We don't have enough weapons for an effective attack”

"We are in the sixth month of Russia's large-scale occupation, and today the Ukrainian Armed Forces do not have enough heavy weapons," Adviser to the Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Oleksiy Arestovych said, SİA informs referring to UNIAN.

"We should consider that the Ukrainian army has to protect more than 2,600 km of the border. At the same time, our defense forces have to fight from a front line of 1,300 km. Nevertheless, we do not have enough heavy weapons for a full-scale and effective attack. It isn't a local war but the biggest continental war since 1945," he said.

Arestovych also noted that it is impossible to cope with such serious battles with existing weapons.

He noted that had every country in Western Europe supported Ukraine as strongly as Poland, they would have already been in Vladivostok.
