Armenia blocks OSCE military inspections for three years

For the past three years, Armenia has refrained from participating in OSCE mechanisms for military information exchange and inspections, according to the annual report of the Cabinet of Ministers.

Report News Agency informs, citing the document, that that during international events focused on mine action, concerns were raised about Armenia’s placement of 1.5 million landmines in Azerbaijani territories, a practice that has continued even after the conflict ended.

“It was underscored that this issue represents a significant humanitarian challenge, emphasizing the need for international assistance due to its scale. Participating states were informed that Armenia’s actions obstruct efforts to establish peace and security in the region.”
