Based on the latest results of the population census, the number of Azerbaijani people as of September 1, 2024 was 10,209,603 people, increasing 28,833 people or 0,3%, State Statistics Committee told SİA.
54,5% of the population is urban, 45,5% is rural and 49,8% is men while 50,2% is women.
