A meeting of the Central Election Commission of Azerbaijan will be held today, APA reports.
The issue of verifying and finalizing the results of the extraordinary elections to the Milli Majlis (Azerbaijani Parliament) will be discussed at the meeting.
Within 24 hours after drawing up the protocol on the general results of the elections, the Central Election Commission must submit the relevant documents to the Constitutional Court for approval of the results of the elections.
After receiving the relevant documents, the Constitutional Court will check and approve the results of the elections to the Parliament within 10 days (if the verification process requires, this period can be extended).
