National television of France doesn’t hear Pierre de Coubertin's call

French national television seems not to hear the call of Pierre de Coubertin, the founder of modern games, Ambassador of Azerbaijan to the Kingdom of the Netherlands Rahman Mustafayev wrote on X, SİA informs.

“Pierre de Coubertin dreamed that sport would silence politics and the conflicts it generates, while the Olympic flame shines. But the French national television seems not to have heard the call of the inventor of the modern Games,” reads the post.

Pierre de Coubertin is the founder of the International Olympic Committee and is considered the father of the modern Olympic Games.
