Famous American basketball player, two-time Olympic champion LeBron James' fortune has reached $1 billion.

SIA reports quoting APA that, Forbes magazine experts say the 37-year-old basketball player has become a billionaire by earning $121.2 million a year.

As a member of the Los Angeles Lakers, he is the first National Basketball Association (NBA) player to have so much wealth.

It should be noted that only one player of the National Basketball Association - the legendary Michael Jordan, made a fortune of $1 billion, but he managed to earn that much money only in 2014, 11 years after his retirement.

Thus, James became the first active player to be included in the list of billionaires in the NBA.

LeBron is a four-time NBA champion and two-time Olympic champion with the US team.
