A total of 2,412,160 foreign citizens and stateless persons visited Azerbaijan during the first 10 months of 2024, marking a 27% increase year-on-year, SİA informs, citing the country’s State Tourism Agency.
In November alone, 202,404 foreigners and stateless persons came to the country. This is 19% more compared to the same month last year.
In January-November of this year, most of the tourists came from Russia (679,903). Türkiye ranked second (389,173), followed by India (214,669).
Meanwhile, 193,900 tourists came from Iran, 99,900 from Georgia, 93,800 from Saudi Arabia, 79,700 from Kazakhstan, 72,800 from Pakistan, 42,200 from China, 40,900 from Uzbekistan, 37,600 from the United Arab Emirates, 33,100 from Ukraine, 29,900 from Turkmenistan, 29,400 from Kuwait, and 26,500 from Israel.
