Iraq-Sham Islamic State alignment, which is battling against Al-Assad’s forces, has captured a church that belongs to Armenian inhabitants of Syria, and even turned it into a madrasa (religious educational institution where Islamic Shariah is taught), SIA reports in reference to Mujahids' websites.
A cross above the church was broken and replaced with the flag of Islam. The church is now under muslims’ control.
