At least 500 people leave Armenia every day through Bagratashen checkpoint on the border with Georgia, MP Aram Manukyan said, SIA reports citing Armenian news agency.
Manukyan, member of the opposition ANC faction, said he had visited the checkpoint together with his colleague Hrant Bagratyan. Around 300-400 young people formed a queue at a checkpoint to leave the country.
He said they are leaving for Russia to find a job and earn their living. Opposition member noted that migration is not only a result of corruption and the ruling regime.
