President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has strongly criticized some officials.
"Children of some of the officials are abusing, insulting people and behave inadequately in the society. Who has given them such a status in society? It was I who appointed the people they rely on and I will dismiss them, if I find it necessary", the head of state said on 12 February speaking at the Baku business center at the conference on results of the fourth year of the State Program for Socioeconomic Development of the Regions of Azerbaijan in 2009-2013.
"If I hear again that some of their family members have acted improperly, been ignorant, or could not behave in a normal way, this person will be arrested and his father be dismissed", the head of state said, addressing the audience.
