Sigurjón Brink was supposed to take part in the third semifinal of Iceland, but suddenly died last night aged 36 from heart attack at his home. Sigurjón Brink wasmarried and had four children. He also participated in the 2005 and 2010 selections and composed one of the 2011 national selection entries as well. RÚV is expected to make official statement for his substitution soon.
