Taylor Swift has apologised to Nicki Minaj in a Twitter spat over the MTV Video Music Awards nominations.
Swift tweeted on Thursday: "I thought I was being called out. I missed the point, I misunderstood, then misspoke. I'm sorry, Nicki."
Minaj tweeted back: "That means so much Taylor, thank you."
It began earlier this week when Minaj complained about her single Anaconda being snubbed in the video of the year category at this year's MTV Video Music Awards. Anaconda was nominated for best hip-hop video.
