Azerbaijan: Ell and Nikki at Slavianski Bazaar

The 2011 Eurovision winners Ell and Nikki from Azerbaijan were invited to perform at the 2011 Slavianski Bazaar Festival in Belarus. The triumphant duo sang their Eurovision winning entry Running Scared. Ell and Niki performed at the Opening Ceremony of the Slavianski Baazar Festival and were not the only Eurovision artists to take the stage: Dima Bilan (Russia 2006, Russia 2008), Yulia Savicheva ( Russia 2004) and Patricia Kaas( France 2009) performed too.

Ell and Nkki won the 2011 Eurovision Song Contest last May in Dusseldorf, giving Azerbaijan its first ever Eurovision victory, thus taking the contest to the land of fire next year. The 2012 Eurovision Song Contest is scheduled to be held in Baku on the 22nd, 24th and 26th of May. The Azerbaijani triumphant duo have been more than busy travelling around Europe promoting their Eurovision entry ever since the European viewers awarded them the 1st prize at Europe's favourite television show.
