One police officer was killed while two others and one civilian were wounded late Wednesday in a terror attack by PKK on armored police vehicles in eastern Tunceli province.
The incident occurred after a group of PKK terrorists attacked a control point of police with automatic refiles and rocket launchers in central Cumhuriyet neighborhood.
Several armored vehicles and special operations teams have been dispatched to the area following the attack.
A wide-scale operation has been launched in the region to nab the terrorists.
