At least two people, including a judge, have been killed after a gunman opened fire inside a courthouse in Milan in northern Italy on Thursday, judiciary officials said.
According to several Italian media outlets, the suspect is believed to be a defendant who was in court for a bankruptcy proceeding.
The sound of shots ringing out had caused panic, with lawyers seen fleeing the scene.
