Men wearing pink tutus sought over homophobic attack on Halloween

Police are searching for two men who were dressed as fairies on Halloween after they reportedly carried out a homophobic attack.

Officers in Kingston Borough are appealing for witnesses and any information following the assault, which saw two young men being badly beaten outside a KFC in Surbiton. The perpetrators were dressed in pink tutus.

Brian Kingsford, the dad of one of the victims, set up a Facebook group in an attempt to track down the attackers.

He said his son Robbie was one of the two victims of the early morning attack on Saturday.

"My son had this happen to him in Surbiton. These thugs need to be caught if you know who these two people were and have any conscience please report them to the police." he said.

Police said two men, aged 21 and 18, were left with head and facial injuries after the unprovoked attack.

Police are looking for two white men in their late 20s who were seen wearing pink tutus.

The first suspect was described as having fair hair that was shaven, a muscular build and was short in height.

The second suspect had brown short hair.
