A two-year-old child has been saved from being eaten alive by a lion that is kept inside a mobile circus.
While the mother was away, the child went to the street where the circus was situated. At that moment, Raqif Karimov, who is originally from Azerbaijan, heard the child screaming and immediately run toward the incident site where he saw the lion was about to rip the child’s head off. Having seen the horrific scene, he started to hit the lion’s head with a piece of stone. A bit after, the personnel of the circus reached the site.
At last, the lion let the child go upon fearing the crowd of people and the increasing noise they made. Rahim Humbatov, the chief of the Azerbaijani community of Krym, said the owner of the lion removed the animal out of the area.
