The situation on the contact line between Azerbaijan and Armenia remains tense as a raiding party of the Armenian Armed Forces attempted to cross the line of contact with Azerbaijan and shattered ceasefire a total of 50 times throughout the day, Azerbaijan`s Defence Ministry said.
Ceasefire was violated in the nameless hills of Aghdam and Kokhanabi village of Tovuz region, Ashagi Seyidahmadli and Ashagi Veysalli villages of Fuzuli region, Marzili, Yusifjanli, Javahirli, Bash Garvand and Shikhlar villages of Aghdam region, Chayli and Chilaburt villages of Tartar region, Kuropatkino village of Khojavand region and the nameless hills of Tap Garagoyunlu village of Goranboy region on January 21-22.
The Armenians were silenced with a retaliatory fire, the Defence Ministry said.
