A group of religious men have today staged a protest action in front of the Azerbaijani embassy in France. The demonstrators protested against insulting Islam in France, discrimination policy against Muslims, as well as the publication of caricatures of the Prophet Muhammad in French satirical magazine "Charlie Hebdo".
The riot police kept the protesters away from the embassy. The protesters clashed with the executives of law-enforcement bodies. Several demonstrators were detained.
