"There are 42 polling stations in Nakhchivan City Election District No. 4 and webcams have been installed in some of them," Chingiz Hasanli, chairman of the District Election Commission of Nakhchivan City No. 4, told Secki 2024 Independent Media Center.
He said that Nakhchivan City Election District No. 4 covers the administrative territory of Nakhchivan city.
"Seven people who put forward their candidacy took a signature sheet from us. The candidacy of each of them has been confirmed. Special spaces have been allocated for the placement of campaign materials. The process is carried out according to the Calendar Plan of the CEC," said the head of the DEC, emphasizing that the members of the commission participate in trainings in stages.
The chairman of the DEC also drew attention to the fact that the polling stations are fully prepared for the election.
"All technical issues related to polling stations have been resolved, all conditions have been created for voters to vote comfortably. During the training sessions, the members of the precinct election commissions are explained the tasks related to the voting day, they are given methodical information about the preparation for the counting of votes, the classification of the ballot papers, filling in the final protocol and other issues," added Chingiz Hasanli.
