Cavusoglu: A monitoring centre will be established if any agreement is reached in Istanbul

If an agreement is reached in Istanbul, a control centre will be established, and a security zone will be created outside Ukrainian waters. In particular, ships sailing to Ukrainian ports will be monitored, the Turkish Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mevlut Cavusoglu, said at a briefing after meeting with the UK Foreign Secretary, Liz Truss, SİA informs.

“On the return of the ships, everyone wants to be sure that they are carrying the appropriate cargo. However, the parties must agree on this issue. We are in talks with Ukraine and Russia in this direction,” he added.
