The Israeli government has decided to cease the broadcast of Qatar's "Al Jazeera" channel in the country, SIA reports citing Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's "X" social network account.
"The government I lead has unanimously decided: the incitement-oriented 'Al Jazeera' channel will be shut down in Israel," the statement reads.
Previously, the Israeli Knesset (parliament) approved a law allowing for the shutdown of "enemy media" in the country during its second and third readings.
