The professionalism of the crew members was critical in saving the lives of 29 passengers, AZAL President Samir Rzayev told journalists.
“It's very important for us. The issue is being thoroughly investigated, and the public will be informed of the reasons. May God have mercy on those who died, and we wish a speedy recovery to the survivors.”
Rzayev also provided details on the repatriation process: “The survivors will be brought back to the country later in the day. The bodies of those who lost their lives will be returned within two days. It is too early to determine the exact cause of the crash, but a detailed investigation is underway. The black box has been found and will be analyzed according to the law.”
