In commemoration of the 31st anniversary of the establishment of the YAP Yasamal District organization, an event was held with prominent figures in attendance. The event was graced by the presence of Baxtiyar Nəbiyev, the president of the YAP Yasamal District organization, Elshad Huseynov, the Head of the Yasamal District Executive Authority, Isa Habibbeyli, the President of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences (AMEA) and a deputy in the National Assembly, Shahlar Asgarov, a member of the YAP Veterans Council and one of the renowned "91 warriors," Misir Mardanov, a member of the YAP Veterans Council, Elnur Allahverdiyev, a deputy in the National Assembly, and other esteemed guests.
Before the official part of the event, a tribute was paid to the memory of Heydar Aliyev, the modern architect and founder of the independent Azerbaijan state, in Fakhri Khiyabani. Flowers were laid in front of his grave. The national anthem was performed before moving on to the formal program. A minute of silence was observed in memory of the martyrs who sacrificed their lives for Azerbaijan's independence, sovereignty, and the recent victory in Avdeevka.
Following these solemn moments, a video presentation highlighting the 31-year journey of the YAP (New Azerbaijan Party) was showcased.
Baxtiyar Nəbiyev, the president of the YAP Yasamal District organization, congratulated everyone on President Ilham Aliyev's magnificent victory in the presidential elections held on February 7, 2024, securing 92.12% of the votes. He highlighted the impressive voter turnout in Yasamal's electoral districts and provided information about the party's 31-year history and accomplishments. Emphasizing the YAP's significant role in Azerbaijan's political landscape, he praised President Ilham Aliyev's leadership and his contribution to the country's development and international standing.
Isa Habibbeyli, the President of AMEA and a deputy in the National Assembly, also congratulated the participants on President Ilham Aliyev's success in the recent elections. He acknowledged the YAP's crucial role in upholding Azerbaijan's independence, territorial integrity, and creating a democratic, legal, and secular society.
Shahlar Asgarov, a member of the YAP Veterans Council, known for his participation in the events of 1991, expressed his congratulations on President Ilham Aliyev's victory in the last presidential elections. He emphasized the YAP's commitment to the country's independence and its continued support for the president's policies.
Elnur Allahverdiyev, a deputy in the National Assembly, extended his congratulations to the participants for the high voter turnout in the recent elections and President Ilham Aliyev's successful win. He praised the YAP for playing a vital role in Azerbaijan's political development.
Elshad Huseynov, the Head of the Yasamal District Executive Authority, concluded the speeches by congratulating everyone on President Ilham Aliyev's victory. He commended the YAP Yasamal District organization for its 31 years of successful and influential political and social activities.
Following the speeches, diplomas, honorary awards, and party memberships were presented to individuals for their contributions to the YAP Yasamal District organization. The event continued with artistic performances and concluded with the performance of the YAP anthem.
