The monitoring group that will investigate the illegal exploitation of natural resources which includes Employees of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources (MENR), State Service on Property Issues under the Ministry of Economy, and the "AzerGold" Closed Joint Stock Company, left for Khojaly to continue discussions with the command of the Russian peacekeeping forces today as a continuation of the meeting held on December 3.

Discussions will be held at the headquarters of the Russian peacekeeping contingent in Khojaly.

The monitoring group that will investigate the illegal exploitation of natural resources which includes Employees of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources (MENR), the State Service on Property Issues under the Ministry of Economy, and the "AzerGold" Closed Joint Stock Company, will continue discussions with the command of the Russian peacekeeping forces today as a continuation of the meeting held on December 3.

The negotiations with the commander of the Russian peacekeeping contingent, Major General Andrey Volkov, will take place at the peacekeepers' headquarters in Khojaly.

During the talks, the importance of conducting monitoring, property inventory, and environmental research in the fields and other relevant locations related to the illegal exploitation of minerals within the framework of illegal economic activities conducted in the territories of Azerbaijan where the Russian peacekeeping forces are temporarily stationed will be highlighted.

Note that as a result of the discussions held on December 3 in Khojaly, at the headquarters of the Russian peacekeeping forces, the preparation of a road map has been started with the participation of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Azerbaijan and other relevant institutions for carrying out works in the area on the mentioned directions of action.(APA)
