A Seminar Dedicated to Pediatrics Days Was Held at the Central Customs Hospital

On February 25, 2026, the Central Customs Hospital held the next seminar for pediatricians working in various medical institutions, dedicated to Pediatrics Days. The event was attended by the Deputy Director of the Central Customs Hospital, Nahidə Mahmudova, Head of the Pediatrics Department, specialist Telman Aytayev, as well as pediatricians.

During the opening, Deputy Director Nahidə Mahmudova and Head of the Pediatrics Department, pediatrician Telman Aytayev, spoke about innovations in pediatrics, comprehensive measures for protecting children’s health, and the importance of continuous professional development for doctors. They emphasized that experience sharing among pediatricians and the implementation of innovative approaches play a decisive role in ensuring a healthy future for children.

The seminar was moderated by the Head of the Pediatrics Department, Telman Aytayev. Presentations included pediatrician Nigar Mirzazade’s talk on “Biliary Atresia and Innovations in Transplantation,” resident Ləman Əliyeva on “Non-immune Hydrops Fetalis,” and resident Yeganə Vəliyeva on “FMF: Genetic Attack and Modern Approaches to Inflammation,” providing detailed information on each topic.

Later, scientific-experimental and training specialist Şəhla Mirzəzadə from the Scientific-Experimental and Training Center of the Medical Service Department of the State Customs Committee provided detailed information about ongoing continuous medical education events and regular Friday seminars for residents. She also invited participants to actively engage in scientific activities organized by the Medical Service Department.

Within the framework of the seminar, pediatricians successfully exchanged knowledge and experience, and detailed discussions were held on innovative diagnostic and treatment methods. At the conclusion of the seminar, participants once again highlighted the importance of collaboration in pediatrics and continuous experience sharing for children’s health. The event ended with a commemorative group photo.
