On July 29, 2026, the Central Customs Hospital held a seminar dedicated to the presentation of the "Patient Services and Insurance Departments Handbook." The event was attended by Deputy Director of the Central Customs Hospital Nahida Mahmudova, heads and staff of the Patient Services and Insurance Departments, nurses, and resident physicians.
In her opening remarks, Deputy Director Nahida Mahmudova emphasized that enhancing employees' knowledge and skills in line with unified corporate presentation standards, ensuring the professional delivery of services to patients and partner organizations, and strengthening effective communication skills are among the hospital's key strategic priorities. To support these objectives, the Handbook was developed to provide a systematic overview of the hospital's areas of activity, the medical services it offers, insurance opportunities, principles of patient communication, and service standards. She noted that the Handbook would serve as a reliable practical reference in the daily work of employees, contribute to the establishment of a unified approach to service delivery, strengthen the culture of professional communication, and further enhance the hospital's patient-centered service model.
During the seminar, Nahida Mahmudova provided a comprehensive overview of the Handbook's main sections, its practical implementation mechanisms, and guidelines for its use in daily operations. Particular attention was given to patient reception and information procedures, principles of professional ethics, effective communication, the prompt and accurate handling of patient inquiries, the clear and transparent explanation of insurance services, and the continuous improvement of service quality.
The seminar concluded with a question-and-answer session and an exchange of views among the participants.
