Dr. Toğrul Piriyev graduated from the Faculty of Pediatrics at Azerbaijan Medical University in 2010. Between 2010 and 2011, he completed his internship in Pediatric Urology at the Central Clinic. Pursuing continuous professional development at the international level, he completed an advanced training program in Pediatric Surgery and Pediatric Urology at the Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine, Istanbul University, from 2017 to 2019, where he gained comprehensive theoretical knowledge and practical skills in modern pediatric surgery.

Dr. Piriyev specializes in the surgical treatment of congenital anomalies in children, cystic lung diseases, disorders of the genitourinary system, gastrointestinal malformations, esophageal atresia, tracheoesophageal fistula, duodenal and intestinal atresia, congenital diaphragmatic hernia, meconium obstruction, neonatal necrotizing enterocolitis, intestinal malrotation, pyloric stenosis, inguinal hernia, hydrocele, cystic diseases of the liver and spleen, as well as emergency pediatric surgical conditions including appendicitis, foreign body ingestion and airway aspiration, testicular and ovarian torsion, incarcerated inguinal hernia, and various traumatic injuries.
