Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has signed an order recalling Elchin Huseynli from his post as the country's ambassador to India, SİA, informs.
Huseynli was also serving as Azerbaijan's ambassador to Bangladesh, the Kingdom of Bhutan, the Maldives, Nepal, and the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka.
Under another presidential order, Elchin Huseynli has been appointed Azerbaijan's Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Italy.
Huseynli was appointed Azerbaijan's ambassador to India in 2023.
