Iranian President Massoud Pezeshkian said that during the last war, Iran received assistance and support through Azerbaijan, SİA reports.

The Iranian President also touched upon the enemy's plan to create chaos in the country and divide Iran. He said that Afghanistan and Pakistan did not allow their territories to be used to destabilize and create unrest within Iran.
According to Pezeshkian, the other side wanted to create protests and ethnic tension and divide the country by carrying out attacks on the Iranian police, but this plan did not come true.
The Iranian President also drew attention to the role played by Azerbaijan in the delivery of aid during the war. He said that at a certain stage, Azerbaijan closed banks and roads to Iran, but after the negotiations, the roads, bank and embassy were reopened.
Pezeshkian noted that during the war, Russia's aid to Iran was carried out through Azerbaijan. According to him, Azerbaijan also supported this process by sending its own aid.
The Iranian President also positively assessed cooperation with Pakistan, Afghanistan, Turkmenistan and Iraq. He said that China and Russia supported Tehran on issues related to Iran on international platforms.
