Azerbaijan recalls Istanbul and Kars consuls, appoints replacements

Narmina Mustafayeva has been recalled from her positions as Azerbaijan's Consul General in Istanbul, Türkiye, and the country's Permanent Representative to the Black Sea Economic Cooperation Organization, according to an order signed by President Ilham Aliyev, SİA informs.

In another presidential order, Zamin Aliyev was recalled from his position as Azerbaijan's Consul General in Kars, Türkiye.

By separate orders, Goshgar Zeynalov was appointed Azerbaijan's Consul General in Kars, while Zamin Aliyev was appointed Consul General in Istanbul.

Narmina Mustafayeva had been appointed to her position in July 2020, while Zamin Aliyev took up his post in November 2024.

Prior to this appointment, Goshgar Zeynalov worked as a third secretary at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) and diplomatic missions, including the Azerbaijani Embassy in Canada.
