Attack launched on Turkish servicemen in northern Iraq, casualties reported

Two servicemen were martyred and two others were injured as a result of an attack on Turkish soldiers in the north of Iraq, the Operation Claw-Lock zone, the Turkish National Defense Ministry said, SİA informs.

“As a result of an attack by members of the separatist terrorist organization in the Operation Claw-Lock zone, our comrades-in-arms Sergeant Major Necdet Calis and extended serviceman Emrah Gundur were martyred, two of our heroic comrades-in-arms were wounded and immediately sent to the hospital,” the ministry said.

The Ministry of National Defense emphasized that the operation in the zone continues.
