The Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA) will make its next decision on the interest rate this week, APA reports,
According to the report, on September 18, the CBA will announce its sixth decision on the interest rate this year.
In its last two decisions, the Board of CBA kept the interest rate stable. The Central Bank kept the interest rate unchanged at 7.25%, the lower limit of the interest corridor at 6.25%, and the upper limit of the interest corridor at 8.25%.
The Central Bank stated that the next decisions regarding keeping the interest rate unchanged or increasing it will depend on the actual inflation and forecast, as well as the dynamics of external and internal risk factors.
