A fire broke out at the Mineralnye Vody Airport in Russia during repair works on Friday, SIA reports citing RIA Novosti.
The regional emergency services responded to the incident and are currently working to put out the flames.
The fire started at the terminal area of the airport, according to the airport's press service. Emergency services, police, and medics are working together at the scene to ensure everyone's safety.
Despite the incident, online flight schedules and arrival/departure information indicate that flights have not been cancelled yet. The situation is under control, with firefighters working to contain the fire, which is affecting an area of approximately 150 square meters.
The cause of the fire is still unknown, and an investigation is currently underway.
